Democrats using Putin, Russia to delegitimize Trump

In September, I wrote, “If Trump wins in November, which is a real possibility, what will happen if an Obama administration claims a successful Russian hack? What will happen if the hanging chads of yesterday become a digital con of today?” Just over three months after I wrote those questions we might be getting our answer.

With the clock running out on his presidency and legacy, President Barack Obama ordered a full review of “foreign-based” digital hacks he and other Democrats claim were undertaken to influence the 2016 presidential election. Obama reportedly has demand the review must be completed before his final ride on Marine One.

{mosads}Why would the outgoing lame duck Obama want the review before he departs? Simple, the departing president is trying to delegitimize the man taking his place.

The illusion that Obama must create to protect his legacy from a Donald Trump sledge hammer is that Trump is a Putin puppet; a Moscow Muppet. If Trump is tainted goods, then maybe, just maybe, Trump’s agenda can be slowed and Obama’s legacy protected. It’s a long shot, but it is Obama’s only shot.

Obama, therefore, wants the review completed before President-elect Trump becomes President Trump because he is not so subtly implying the investigation would be tainted under a Trump Administration that has suspected Russian ties.

The fact that Obama, the same man who looked the other way when former President Bill Clinton met with Attorney General Loretta Lynch days before it was announced Hillary Clinton would not face an indictment for her emails, means nothing to this bon voyage president.

Obama, Democrats, and the press know that Trump is not just another GOP president; he is a game changer. Trump stands to usher in an era of post-liberalism in which the political truths taught for generations are discarded. Just look at Trump’s cabinet picks.

For Secretary of Education he picked Betsy DeVos, a charter school advocate with no ties to the current education bureaucracy that has failed our nation’s children. To head the Environmental Protection Agency he picked Scott Pruitt who is a prominent critic of the global warming theory.

Trump, thus, is refusing to accept the political truths that were forced upon a nation through political bullying and dehumanization of dissent. For all of those climate scientists who doubted global warming and were dispatched to the environmental gulags, a pardon is coming.

But global warming and education theory is just the beginning. The wisdom of accepting hordes of Third World masses is being questioned as this column is being written. The infallibility of a free trade that benefits Wall Street and the expense of Main Street is in doubt. And the Supreme Court is poised to be re-shackled to the constitutional chains that once constrained it.

Trump is a transformation president and everyone knows it — though they are loathe to admit it. Everything we were force fed as true is now under a much need scrutiny and as the light begins to shine the political lies that once dominated our debate are being exposed. The only way to slow the transformation underway by Trump’s hands is to de-legitimize the messenger. Enter Putin.

As early as the Summer of 2016 the media began to plants seeds that our election was being rigged. It is why I wrote a column predicting Russia would be a political red herring to attack Trump.

Intelligence community investigating covert Russian influence operations in the United States,” was a headline from The Washington Post from September In the story, Post reporters confirmed that U.S. intelligence believes sees “a broad covert Russian operation in the United States to sow public distrust in the upcoming presidential election and in U.S. political institutions.” Included in the scope of influence would by a cyber threat geared at rigging election results.

The Post, however, was not alone in spreading fear about the validity of November’s election results. In July, NBC News featured a story in which the headline was “Could Russian Hackers Spoil Election Day?

In August, Politico ran a story about “How to Hack an Election in 7 Minutes” in which a Russian hack was reported as being all but imminent. With Obama ordering a review, the fruition of the Putin prophecy is being witnessed today.

Make no mistake; the Russians have denied the allegations. Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, made it clear that Russia was not taking the blame for the hack of the DNC emails, released during the Democratic Convention, and was not trying to influence the 2016 U.S. election.

“As regards these (email) batches, that is not our headache. We never poke our noses into others’ affairs and we really don’t like it when people try to poke their nose into ours,” Peskov said. “The Americans need to get to the bottom of what these emails are themselves and find out what it’s all about.”

Taking Moscow at its word is as smart at taking Hillary at her’s, but that is not the point. Buried in the Post’s Sept. 5th story about the investigation into Russian meddling was an interesting nugget of information — there is no proof of Russian interference. “The official cautioned that the intelligence community is not saying it has ‘definitive proof’ of such tampering, or any Russian plans to do so,” The Post reported.

Today, there is no evidence — other than a “secret” CIA assessment — that that the Russians interfered and the fact that Hillary won the popular vote undermines their influence was successful. It was the intervention of our founding fathers in the electoral process that created a Trump presidency, not Kremlin cadets.

So, despite the onslaught of headlines then warning and now lamenting a Russian hack, there is no proof. We have no reason to believe that our election was rigged. All we have is are the words of professional politicians that have made careers out of lying to the American public for their own personal gain.

Implicating Russia is the last stand of the Old Guard; it is all it has left. Trump has won, the American people have spoken. This is one bell Obama, Hillary, or Putin cannot unring.
