Yoder ‘heartbroken’ over ‘senseless’ shootings
Rep. Kevin Yoder (R-Kan.) on Sunday said he was “shocked” by the “senseless” shootings in the Kansas City suburbs he represents.

Three people were shot and killed at a Jewish community center and an assisted living facility, according to multiple reports. A suspect is in custody.

Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) wrote on Twitter that his “thoughts and prayers are with the victims of senseless violence at the JCC in OP and Village Shalom in Leawood.”
Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) tweeted that he was praying “for safety of everyone there.”
