How one lawmaker kills time before interviews
Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) wants his followers to know he is still spry at the age of 83.
Rangel tweeted a short video Wednesday showing him bobbing back and forth ahead of an MSNBC interview on Capitol Hill.
He tagged the video with the hashtag “#Harlem Shake.” He represents the New York’s 13th District, which is based partly in Harlem.

Rangel, one of the longest-serving members of Congress, announced late last year he would seek reelection for a 23rd term this year.
Rangel will likely face off in a contentious primary with a number of challengers already announcing a run. He has said he is in for a “rough” fight.
