Rep. Issa wishes Sen. Grassley ‘deer-free driving’
{mosads}The Iowa senator hit a deer on Thursday night and tweeted that he pulled his fender off and kept driving.
“Assume deer dead,” he tweeted.
Fred and I hit a deer on hiway 136 south of Dyersville. After I pulled fender rubbing on tire we continued to farm. Assume deer dead

Deer collisions are not unusual in Iowa, which has ranked the second or third most likely state for drivers to hit a deer in studies performed by State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. over the last few years.
In Grassley’s case, the tweet resulted in at least one dead-deer parody account on Twitter.
