A judge has granted former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his former business associate Richard Gates “limited release” for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Manafort and Gates will have to wear GPS devices and are not allowed to consume alcohol, ABC News reported.
The two are also required to tell authorities where they are going and when.
Manafort’s attorney on Monday filed a motion requesting release “for the limited purpose of local travel,” Politico reported.

Manafort was charged last month with conspiracy against the United States, tax fraud and money laundering in the first indictment to come from the investigation of special counsel Robert Mueller.
The 12-count indictment includes fives counts against Gates.
Manafort last month turned himself in at the FBI’s Washington, D.C., field office.
The charges are related to work done by Manafort and Gates on behalf of a pro-Kremlin political party in Ukraine.
Mueller alleges they were paid tens of thousands of dollars for the work and then laundered the money “in order to hide Ukraine payments from United States authorities.”
A judge ruled earlier this month Manafort and Gates would remain under house arrest until they can provide adequate financial assurance to convince a federal judge they will not skip out on future court appearances.
They were released into home confinement with GPS monitoring on $10 million and $5 million unsecured bail bonds, respectively.
