TRADE. Consumer electronics company Tile hired Akin Gump to work on issues regarding Section 301 tariffs. Brian Pomper, former international trade counsel on the Senate Finance Committee, and Justin McCarthy, former special assistant to President George W. Bush on legislative affairs, will work on the account.

MEDIA. Media and lifestyle company Playboy Enterprises International, based in California, hired Blank Rome Government Relations to work on issues related to copyright and intellectual property infringement in China. Jennifer Ellison, former staff assistant on the House Armed Services Committee, will work on the account.
