TRADE. Christian Book Distributors, an online religious product retailer, hired The Vogel Group to work on trade and tariff issues involving religious products. Alex Vogel, former chief counsel to ex-Sen. Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.); Brian Johnson, a former director of federal affairs at the American Petroleum Institute; and Samir Kapadia, former executive assistant at the Heritage Foundation, will work on the account.
