Lance Leggitt, Jim Manley and Peter Urbanowicz joined APCO Worldwide’s International Advisory Council as senior counselors. Leggitt previously was President Trump’s deputy assistant to the president for domestic policy; Manley was senior communications adviser and spokesperson for ex-Sen. The Public Affairs Council elected Pete Slone, senior vice president of public affairs for McKesson, as its 2019–2020 chair. Slone also heads the McKesson PAC.
Ryan Alexander announced she will resign as president of Taxpayers for Common Sense, effective Jan. 1. She will be replaced by Steve Ellis, who is currently executive vice president.
