The National Automobile Dealers Association hired Myra Dandridge as the organization’s first executive director of external affairs and public policy. Dandridge was previously communications director for the Congressional Black Caucus and vice president of government relations for the National Association of Broadcasters.
Laura Lane, president of global public affairs at United Parcel Service of America Inc., was promoted to chief corporate affairs and communications officer. She will report to CEO Carol Tomé and oversee all public policy and government affairs, public relations, employee communications and the UPS Foundation. Lane has worked at UPS since 2011 and previously was managing director and head of international government affairs at Citigroup Inc. Before that, she was vice president for global public policy at Time Warner.
TechNet promoted Peter Chandler to vice president of federal policy and government relations. He most recently was director of federal policy and government relations and has worked for TechNet for almost two years. He previously was chief of staff to Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) for five years and before that was chief of staff to ex-Rep. Michael Michaud (D-Maine).
Eric Kuwana was named a partner at law and lobbying firm Alston & Bird LLP. He previously was a partner at Cooley LLP. He also served as counsel in the White House under former President George H.W. Bush and was counsel at the Transportation Department during the Clinton administration.
Katherine Neebe was hired by Duke Energy Corp. as president of its foundation and vice president of national engagement and strategy. She previously was senior director of Environmental, Social, and Governance, Trust & Transparency at Walmart, where she worked for more than seven years. Before that, she was a manager at the World Wildlife Fund.
Semiconductor company Lam Research Corp. hired Rich Ashooh as vice president of global government affairs. He was previously assistant secretary of Commerce for the Bureau of Industry and Security in the Trump administration. Before that, he was director of strategy at BAE Systems Plc.
