Subject Matter hired Sandra Alcala to its government relations team. Alcala most recently served as chief of staff to Rep. Filemon Vela (D-Texas). She previously served as director of member services for House Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and policy director for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. 

Phil Hancock joined Norfolk Southern as director of government relations. He most recently served as legislative assistant for Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and previously was an Amtrak aide. 

The Business Roundtable promoted Kristen Silverberg to president and chief operating officer. Silverberg joined the business group in 2019 as executive vice president of policy and previously served as U.S. ambassador to the European Union.

Forbes Tate Partners hired Andres Ramirez as a senior vice president. Ramirez most recently ran his own public affairs firm, Ramirez Group, and previously served as a legislative aide to former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.). 

Ret. Col. Dan Greenwood joined BGR Group as a senior vice president in the firm’s defense and commerce practices. Greenwood most recently led Indo-Pacific Strategy and Posture in the U.S. Marine Corps and previously served as deputy assistant to the president and deputy director for White House legislative affairs in the Trump administration. 

Yvonne McIntyre joined PG&E Corp. as vice president of federal affairs. McIntyre most recently was director of federal electricity and utility policy at the Natural Resources Defense Council. 

Lot Sixteen hired Bud DeFlaviis as a vice president for government relations. DeFlaviis most recently led government affairs at the Alliance for Market Solutions and previously was director of government affairs at the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association.
