An American who is being extradited to the U.S. from a Colombian prison will soon face a trial for selling bleach fluids marketed as a “miracle cure” for COVID-19 and other ailments.
Mark Grenon calls himself the “archbishop” of the Genesis II church, The Guardian reported, and he is allegedly distributing bleach to at least 75 prisoners at the La Picota penitentiary in Bogotá where he is being held.

Through secret networks, Grenon is allegedly able to get his hands on the chemicals needed to sell his supplies in jail.
“You can’t get it on the outside, but we got it on the inside,” Grenon said in a phone call, a recording of which has been heard by the Guardian.
His more than 75 clients have conditions like diabetes and gastritis, aliments that make them more vulnerable to the virus.
Though it is not confirmed, Grenon appears to have access to a secret phone that enables him to connect to the outside, including the ability to surf the internet.
Using Facebook and mobile messaging apps like Telegram, Grenon is allegedly able to push his dangerous product.
Indicted by a grand jury in Miami in April, the church leader and his three sons, one of whom is being held with Grenon while the others are awaiting a trial in Miami, face long prison sentences for their alleged sale of his “Miracle Mineral Solution.”
They claim the bleach-based solution is a miracle cure, not only for COVID-19, but also cancer, malaria and many other illnesses.
