Clearance in Aisle 3! Obama camp puts entire inventory on sale

Seems President Obama’s campaign is doing a bit of summer cleaning in its swag department. Just in time for the convention, Obama for America is offering its commander-in-chief-themed gear at bargain-basement — or, at least, cheaper — prices.

An email sent out Monday by the Obama Store 2012 declared “25 percent OFF everything in the store!”

{mosads}The discount on purchases of more than $10 is being touted as an end-of-summer sale.

In addition to the 25 percent savings, the cost of a bunch of pro-Obama products is getting slashed. Among the items getting the heave-ho for fall via lower price tags: a Diane Von Furstenberg American flag bag reduced from $85 to $50, an Obama baseball hat that sells now for $15 instead of $30, and a “Vote Obama” beach towel that sells for $35, rather than the usual $40.
