Republicans battle to fill Boebert’s seat in Colorado: Live results

U.S. Senate candidate Ron Hanks speaks during the GOP Assembly at the World Arena on April 9, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colo. A growing number of Republican candidates are claiming, or even previewing, that voter fraud is the only reason for their loss in a GOP primary. The latest to make the claim, which is ripped from former President Donald Trump's 2020 playbook, is the Trump-endorsed candidate in the Arizona Republican primary for governor. Critics say the claims, always presented without evidence, further undermine confidence in elections. (Hugh Carey/The Colorado Sun via AP)

A handful of Republicans in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District are looking to win the GOP primary on Tuesday in hopes of filling a House seat set to be vacated by Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.)

Boebert announced late last year that she would run in a new district. Since then, a number of Republicans entered the race, but Democrats used the switch to strategize, looking to elevate hard-line Republican candidate Ron Hanks, a controversial candidate in the GOP primary.
