The Future of Education

The Future of Education

Session One: The New Building Blocks of K-12 11:00AM-12:15PM ET

Session Two: Higher Education Confronts a Pandemic 1:30PM-3:00PM ET

Crises can be double-edged. Though they disrupt and cause harm, historically societies respond by adapting — and that is happening today across America.

From preschool to K-12 to community colleges and universities, many students and educators have been forced from active classrooms to digitally networked homes.

Many lament the loss of the habit and pattern of education before the Covid-19 pandemic, but the changes compel us to ask what can be made better.

Can the unevenness in school funding across America be addressed by providing rich educational content to everyone? Can this moment serve as a catalyst to sustainably bridge the digital divide? How can the role of trained educators be maintained and elevated?
