Small Business Recovery: Philadelphia
According to a U.S. Census Bureau survey, more than 80 percent of small businesses experienced a significant negative impact during the pandemic. Minority-owned businesses are among those hardest hit.
What opportunities are being created for minority-owned small businesses in the recently passed federal stimulus plan? What unique challenges are these entrepreneurs facing in different parts of the country, and how can public policy tools be deployed to best serve them?
In the first stop of our Small Business Recovery tour, The Hill makes a virtual stop in Philadelphia. Members of Congress, local officials, nonprofits and small business leaders join us to discuss what challenges remain for diverse small business owners in Philadelphia and what they need for a successful recovery.
