Farmers are beginning to put into service AI and IoT-enabled technologies. Utilizing 5G, farmers can monitor field conditions and be notified when crops need watering, pesticides, or fertilizer. Other uses in farming for 5G are the tracking of livestock, piloting agricultural drones and directing self-driving tractors. The result for agriculture is improved crop yields, better quality produce, and higher profits.
