Embassy Eats: Krystal goes to Belgium

This week Belgium has been in the headlines for making it to the semi-finals of the World Cup.

That serves as a reminder: There is more to that country than waffles and chocolate.

The executive chef at the Belgian embassy here in D.C. agrees. Chef Dries Molkens showed off some of the lesser-known Belgian cuisine while giving me a tour of the Belgian ambassador’s residence.
