As American politics has become more polarized, the partisan divide can sometimes cause bitter divisions among family members.
GOP Wisconsin Senate candidate Kevin Nicholson joined “Rising” co-host Buck Sexton July 27 to talk about his campaign and about how his switch from Democrat to Republican provoked strife with his parents.
“I believe these policies empower people to be successful,” Nicholson said of his new party. He contrasted the GOP with Democrats who he said were “obsessed with race, class, gender, ethnicity, and separating us as Americans.”
Nicholson also touted President Trump’s tax cuts and deregulatory agenda as “great policy.” He also hailed Trump’s dealings with Iran and North Korea.
