Hill.TV host Krystal Ball on Friday slammed the Democratic Party and former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg and their handling of the Iowa Caucuses.
Ball accused Perez and Buttigieg of silencing the working class by calling for a recanvas of the Iowa caucus results as Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) pulled even with Buttigieg in the caucus results.
Ball said she believes “the party has one overwhelming goal – it is not diversity, it is not centering black women or latinos, or bringing new voters into the process – it is protecting the professional managerial class and their elite privilege.”
