Hill.TV host Saagar Enjeti on Thursday ripped into the failed campaign of Former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick (D), who suspended his campaign amid anemic poll numbers and a poor showing in the New Hampshire primary. Enjeti slammed the media’s coverage of Patrick’s campaign which focused on “a person of color” jumping into the race late and “capitalizing on Joe Biden losing his grasp.”
Enjeti said “the way woke white liberals in the media think about race is not how many members of that race actually do.” Enjeti added Patrick’s campaign showed that “when you pander only to a person’s race and you don’t speak to their class interest, they no longer want to listen to you.
