HuffPost reporter discusses Keynes biography

Zach Carter, a reporter at HuffPost, appeared on Hill.TV’s “Rising” on Thursday to discuss his book, “The Price of Peace: Money, Democracy and the Life of John Maynard Keynes.”

The book is a biography of Keynes, who Carter said thought of himself as a “social-thinker,” and not so much as an economist, as he is known now. Much of Keynes’s work took place during the Great Depression.

“He wanted to be known as somebody who grappled with the great social problems of his day,” Carter said of Keynes, who died in 1946.
