The Intercept’s Washington bureau chief Ryan Grim joined Hill.TV’s “Rising” on Tuesday to discuss primary challenges to incumbents in Michigan, Washington state and Missouri.
In an interview with host Krystal Ball and guest host Rachel Bovard, Grim pointed to the seats occupied by Reps. William Lacy Clay (D-Mo.) and Denny Heck (D-Wash.) as wins that progressives could pick up against establishment Democrats.
“This is the second time [the Congressional Progressive Caucus have] really intervened in a race,” Grim said of the race to replace Heck, who is retiring. “At least $150,000 behind [Beth] Doglio.”
