Jacobin editor at large David Sirota discussed reports that Ted Kaufman, a longtime Joe Biden confidante and the head of Biden’s transition team, advised against deficit spending to fund the programs detailed in the Democratic nominee’s platform.
“It exposes that the way Democrats look at politics, which is to say one thing to voters, and say another thing to Washington. And that’s a real problem,” Sirota said.
