Manny Marotta: Russia’s latest peace offer not made ‘in good faith’

Independent journalist Manny Marotta on Tuesday told Hill.tv’s “Rising” that he doesn’t think Ukraine will accept the latest peace offer from Russia.

“It’s a very unilateral and one-sided offer on the part of Russia,” Marotta said. “It’s unfair to the Ukrainian people.”

Ukraine is likely to reject the offer based on demands to relinquish control of several regions, he explained.

“The Ukrainian people will continue to fight for a full and sovereign Ukraine,” Marotta said, adding that he doesn’t believe Russia is making the offer “in good faith.”
