A majority of voters say it is “likely” that President Trump will run for the White House again in 2024, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.
Fifty-nine percent of registered voters in the Dec. 10-14 survey said it is either somewhat or very likely that Trump will run again in four years, while 41 percent said it is either very or somewhat unlikely.
Sixty-eight percent of Republican voters said it’s likely that Trump will run again along with 59 percent of independents.
Democratic voters were split on the issue, with 50 percent saying it was likely Trump would run again and 50 percent saying it was not likely.
A Nov. 17-19 Hill-HarrisX survey found 47 percent of voters said they’d support Trump running again in 2024 while 53 percent of voters opposed another run by the president.
Though Trump has yet to concede the 2020 election he has floated the idea of running for president once more in four years.
The Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 3,799 registered voters. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.59 percentage points.
