President Biden’s job approval on the coronavirus pandemic has ticked up to 65 percent, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.

Sixty-five percent of registered voters in the March 5-8 survey said they approve of the job Biden is doing in handling the virus, a 1 percentage point increase from a Feb. 12-15 survey.

Thirty-five percent said they disapprove of the job Biden is doing on the pandemic.

Biden’s overall job approval remains steady at 58 percent.

Thursday, Biden addressed the nation in his first prime-time address as president and urged Americans to show unity in order to effectively snuff out the virus.

The most recent Hill-HarrisX survey was conducted online among 2,839 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 1.84 percentage points.
