NOW, HERE YOU GO. YOU MAY EVEN GET A LITTLE MISTY-EYED: …on several levels. 15 days away from the election, The Hill’s Ben Kamisar pulled together a list of the 56 most memorable moments from this wild presidential race. Personal favorites: Trump fought back after Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) called him a “jackass” by giving out Graham’s personal cellphone number. Also, remember when Jim Webb revealed on a Sunday show that he killed a guy. Literally, what was this past year?? http://bit.ly/2enCIFq
Welcome back from the weekend! I’m Cate Martel with a quick recap of what you missed this morning — and what’s on tap for the rest of the day. Send comments, story ideas and events for our radar to cmartel@digital-release.digital-release.thehill.com, @CateMartel and on Facebook.
NEW POLL — IT’S A TIE: Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are in a dead heat at 41 percent, according to a new Investor’s Business Daily/TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence Tracking Poll. Why this matters: Pollster Nate Silver once called it the most accurate poll of the 2012 election. http://bit.ly/2exVmtT
YA, BUUUUUT: Trump claimed this morning that Democrats are making up polls to suppress his candidacy. Though it is not clear what polls Trump is referring to. He also tweeted out this morning: “We are winning and the press is refusing to report it. Don’t let them fool you- get out and vote! #DrainTheSwamp on November 8th!” http://bit.ly/2e47ZYV
RCP AVERAGE: The RealClearPolitics polling average has Clinton up 5.8 points over Trump. http://bit.ly/2egLste
NEW TODAY — A HASSAN ENDORSEMENT: The Boston Globe has endorsed New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan (D) in her bid to unseat Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte. “Fate dealt Kelly Ayotte a tough hand this year: The emergence of Donald J. Trump … But the New Hampshire GOP senator flunked the Trump test,” the editorial board wrote. http://bit.ly/2e46MRc
{mosads}PREPARE FOR BATTLE, YOUNG GRASSHOPPER: Via The Hill’s Alexander Bolton, Democrats are bracing for a fierce fight over immigration if Hillary Clinton wins the White House on Nov. 8. Why: Clinton has promised to send a comprehensive immigration reform package to Congress within her first 100 days. That could put Senate Dems seeking reelection in 2018 in a tough spot. In the next election cycle, Senate Dems will need to defend 25 seats, including in Republican-leaning states such as Indiana, North Dakota, West Virginia, Missouri and Montana — all of which Donald Trump seems likely to win this year. http://bit.ly/2en7wnn
WHAT TO EXPECT TODAY: Via Politico’s Edward-Isaac Dovere, President Obama is expected to endorse 30 more House candidates who are looking to flip or hold swing districts. List of candidates: http://politi.co/2f8Uc7d
