Donald Trump Friday slammed likely general election rival Hillary Clinton for answering “softball questions” about her personal email server on a “day of national tragedy.”

{mosads}”Isn’t it sad that on a day of national tragedy Hillary Clinton is answering questions about her email lies on @CNN?” Trump tweeted Friday.

Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, appeared on CNN to talk about Thursday night’s shootings in Dallas that left five police officers dead, but also answered questions from host Wolf Blitzer about the FBI’s comments on her use of a personal email server during her time as secretary of State.

Clinton disputed the FBI’s finding that she and her aides were “extremely careless” in their handling of classified information.

In Clinton’s first public interview since the Justice Department’s decision not to press charges against her, she said she thought FBI Director James Comey had “clarified that comment, to some extent, pointing out that some of what was thought to be classified apparently was not.”

“I think the professionals with whom I communicated were very careful about how they handled classified material — as I was over the course of those four years,” Clinton said on CNN’s “The Lead.”
