Donald Trump on Thursday said he remains undecided one day before he was set to announce his vice presidential pick.

“I haven’t made a final, final decision,” the presumptive GOP presidential nominee said on Fox News’s “On the Record.”

{mosads}Trump said he greatly admires the finalists on his shortlist, specifically naming New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) and former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.).

“I think Newt is a fantastic person. I think Chris is a fantastic person. Mike has done a great job as governor of Indiana. He has done a really fantastic job,” Trump said.

Multiple media outlets have confirmed Pence as Trump’s choice, but the billionaire’s campaign aides have denied such talk as premature.

Trump was set to make the announcement formally at a news conference in New York at 11 a.m. Friday, but he said he was postponing the event in the wake of a deadly attack in Nice, France.

Trump choosing Pence is widely believed to bolster his credibility with conservatives and rally skeptical Republicans around his campaign.

Pence, a former House GOP lawmaker who served in the chamber from 2001 to 2013, would also give Trump legislative experience for accomplishing his agenda.

Trump declined to confirm that Pence flew to New Jersey en route to New York Thursday, saying on Fox News’s “The O’Reilly Factor” that it would be “inappropriate” to comment on the reports.
