At least six Jewish community centers in four different states were evacuated on Monday due to various threats made by phone, according to multiple reports.
The Miami Herald reported Monday that two community centers in the Miami-Dade area were evacuated due to bomb threats. Both scenes were said to be “all-clear” by the afternoon.
The Bender JCC in Rockville, Md. was also evacuated at noon on Monday before officials gave the “all-clear.”

The Tennessean also reported Monday that a center in West Nashville was evacuated after receiving a bomb threat. The situation was deemed all clear just before 12:30 p.m.
Another center in Jacksonville, Fla. was also evacuated after receiving “a threat to our building,” according to a New York Daily News report.
WACH also said the Jewish community center in Columbia, S.C. was evacuated due to a bomb threat.
