Trump National Golf Club vandalized with ‘resist’ spray-painting
Police are investigating acts of vandalism at the Trump National Golf Club in Virginia over the weekend, including the word “resist” being spray-painted on a fairway.
The vandals dug holes into the fairway of the course’s 13th hole, poured what authorities believe to be bleach on the grass, and spray painted rocks, according to NBC4.
{mosads}Anti-Trump protestors have adopted the word “resist” to oppose his administration.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the damage.
President Trump visited the course the day before to play a round of golf with Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) while the two discussed healthcare.
Trump, who has made frequent appearances at Trump-owned properties since taking office, also visited the course late last month.
This is the second vandalism occurrence at Trump National; the first came shortly after the 2016 presidential election in November.
