Former Trump campaign adviser Roger Stone has reportedly complied with a request from lawmakers leading the Russia investigation to turn over the identity of his go-between to WikiLeaks.
Stone’s attorney Grant Smith told CNN that the longtime friend of the president responded to the request from the House Intelligence Committee.

“Mr. Stone has complied with the committee’s requests. No further statement will be issued,” Smith said.
In a hearing with the House committee, Stone answered questions regarding Russian interference in the 2016 election, but would not provide investigators with the name of an intermediary contact to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Stone had previously suggested he may have had advance knowledge of the hack and later release by WikiLeaks of confidential emails between Hillary Clinton and her campaign chairman John Podesta.
Stone’s response to the House request comes after the leading members of the committee, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Rep. Mike Conaway (R-Texas) threatened to subpoena the former Trump campaign member for the information if he did not hand it over by Friday.
