Scalise responds to Rosie calling him a ‘f—ing liar’: ‘Bless your heart’
Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) on Thursday traded barbs on Twitter with comedian Rosie O’Donnell after the House passed its tax-reform bill.
O’Donnell called the congressman a “f—ing liar” after he tweeted that the House’s vote to pass the Tax Cuts and Job Act was “a huge win for American families.”
“Bless your heart!” Scalise responded to O’Donnell.

The House on Thursday passed legislation to overhaul the country’s tax code by a vote of 227-205. No Democrats voted for the bill, and 13 Republicans also opposed it. The vote moves Republicans closer to achieving a top priority on their legislative agenda.
Scalise is the House majority whip.

O’Donnell, a former television host, has been a frequent critic of President Trump and the Republican agenda.
She and the president have traded shots publicly dating back prior to when Trump entered the 2016 presidential race.
Trump once called O’Donnell a “pig,” and said during a 2016 presidential debate that she deserved his verbal attacks.
O’Donnell has called Trump “mentally unstable.” In February, she led a protest outside the White House.
