Axl Rose urges fans to vote Democrat in midterms

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose is urging voters to elect Democrats in the midterm elections.

The rock icon shared a blunt message with his more than 1.2 million Twitter followers on Sunday, ahead of the Nov. 6 midterms:

Rose, born William Rose Jr., is a frequent critic of President Trump on social media.

{mosads}Last month, the “Welcome to the Jungle” singer, who is currently also the lead singer of AC/DC, wrote that Americans “don’t have a president.”

In early October, Rose, 56, blasted a visit to the Oval Office by rapper Kanye West, calling it “a joke.”

Earlier this year, Rose slammed Trump’s White House as “disgraceful,” writing:

Rose is not the only musician to speak out ahead of the midterms.

Earlier this month, Taylor Swift notably broke her career-long silence on politics to endorse former Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen (D) over Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R) in the state’s Senate race.

Earlier this month, Rihanna pushed her fanbase to register to vote and to head to the polls, writing on Instagram that Americans have “no greater responsibility.”
