Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s (R) impeachment trial continues into its second week Friday morning.
As The Hill’s Saul Elbein writes, the first impeachment trial in the in the Lone Star State’s modern history marks a potentially explosive moment for Texas’s Republican Party.
Paxton faces 20 counts of corruption.
The trial is scheduled to resume at 10 a.m. EDT.
