White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will deliver a daily press briefing Friday afternoon, joined by national security spokesman John Kirby.
The briefing comes as Houthi rebels, unbowed by U.S. strikes, continue to attack ships in the Red Sea, further challenging the Biden administration as it works to stomp out the Yemeni militant group’s aggression and resume global trade operations.
The briefing is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. EST.
