Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address a joint session of Congress on Wednesday afternoon, as a number of Democrats criticize his trip to Washington and call for an end to the war in Gaza.
Netanyahu will speak just days after President Biden, who has had a fraught relationship with the Israeli leader, announced he will not seek reelection. The two leaders plan to meet Thursday.
The speech before Congress is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. EDT.
