The Senate is gearing up for a final vote on a $2 trillion coronavirus relief package.
The wide-reaching bill provides money for workers, small businesses and industries impacted in recent weeks by the outbreak.
“This is not even a stimulus package. It is emergency relief. Emergency relief. That’s what this is,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Wednesday afternoon ahead of the vote.
