Fox seen on White House grounds
A fox was seen trotting outside the White House on Thursday morning, according to a CBS reporter who spotted it.
CBS reporter Weijia Jiang posted a series of photos and a short video clip of the furry creature moving across the lawn.

Jiang’s video instantly racked up thousands of likes and hundreds of retweets, with some users cracking jokes about President Trump’s administration and Fox News.
“This tweet seems written for me,” CNN media critic Brian Stelter wrote.
“Fox News runs the White House,” another user joked.

In September, a confrontation between reporters on the White House grounds and an angry raccoon went viral online.
A 2016 Washington Post report found while foxes are somewhat rare in the metro Washington, D.C., area, it is not uncommon for them to be spotted in the city’s urban areas in the fall and spring.
