Bondi on ‘SNL’ portrayal: ‘Loving Amy Poehler!’

Attorney General Pam Bondi appears to be giving a good review to a “Saturday Night Live” sketch in which Amy Poehler mocked her appearance before a Senate committee last week.

“Should we recreate this picture in Chicago? Loving Amy Poehler!” Bondi wrote in a post on the social platform X that tagged for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Former “SNL” cast member Tina Fey returned to the show to play Noem as part of the sketch. Bondi’s post featured a still showing Poehler frowning and Fey holding a semiautomatic rifle while wearing a baseball cap.

“My name is Pam Bondi, I spell it with an ‘I’ cause I ain’t gonna answer any of your questions,” Poehler said while playing Bondi during Saturday’s episode.

“My time is valuable, the DOJ has many ongoing operations and we’re moving like Kash Patel’s eyeballs, very quickly and multiple directions at once,” she continued in a joke about the FBI director.

Tagging the “SNL” account, the Department of Homeland Security posted on X: “Thanks for the free advertisement. Get Criminals Out. Make History. Save America.”
