Obama: Jeb has ‘every right’ to seek presidency

“But I think they have every right to do what they think is best,” Obama said, adding that the “great thing about democracy” is that “anybody can run, even the son of and brother of former presidents.”

The president also weighed in on another likely presidential candidate with familial ties to the White House: former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Obama said the he thought “so highly” of the former first lady.

“I’ve said before and will continue to say I think she’d be an excellent president,” Obama said.
