President Trump’s counselor Kellyanne Conway said Friday that “no one can take a joke” in Washington, D.C.
When asked about her comments that microwaves can be used for surveillance, Conway scolded the residents of the capital for being “humorless.”
{mosads}“No one can take a joke either, that is definitely true. Humorless Washington,” Conway said at the National Review Institute’s Ideas Summit, Politico reported.
Last week, Conway mentioned microwaves when discussing modern surveillance techniques in an interview with New Jersey’s The Record.
“What I can say is there are many ways to surveil each other,” Conway argued.
“There was an article this week that talked about how you can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets — any number of different ways — microwaves that turn into cameras, etc.,” she added.
