President Trump said Sunday that the United Kingdom’s prime minister “was very angry” over leaks regarding the concert attack in Manchester last week.
“British Prime Minister May was very angry that the info the U.K. gave to U.S. about Manchester was leaked. Gave me full details!” Trump wrote on Twitter, referring to Prime Minister Theresa May.

Trump’s tweet comes after American media outlets last week published information the U.K. charged was acquired through leaks.
The BBC reported last week that the Manchester police would stop sharing intelligence with the United States following the reports.
Crime scene photos and the name of the bomber were both leaked to U.S. media outlets last week after an individual detonated an improvised explosive device that killed 22 people at an Ariana Grande concert.
Trump last week called for an investigation into “deeply troubling” leaks of sensitive intelligence, including the information leaked about the Manchester bombing.
“The alleged leaks coming out of government agencies are deeply troubling,” Trump said in a statement, vowing his administration “will get to the bottom of this” because they “pose a grave threat to our national security.”
Earlier on Sunday, Trump also tweeted that many leaks from his White House were “fabricated lies made up by the #FakeNews media.”
