Scaramucci clarifies make-up artist comment: ‘I need all the help I can get’
White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci on Sunday clarified his earlier comments regarding a hair and make-up person at the White House.
During an appearance Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Scaramucci referenced the hair and make-up person that had worked Friday ahead of the press briefing, telling new press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders that he “loved the hair and make-up person that we had on Friday.”
Scaramucci tried to clarify the make-up remark in a tweet.
“For the record, I was referring to my hair and make up and the fact that I like the make up artist,” he tweeted.
“I need all the help I can get! #humor.”
