President Trump continued his aggressive rhetoric toward North Korea on Friday, issuing yet another stark warning to the East Asian nation on Twitter.
“Military solutions are now fully in place, locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely. Hopefully Kim Jong Un will find another path!” Trump tweeted.
The president’s tweet comes after days of ratcheted up rhetoric between Washington and Pyongyang.
Trump issued a warning to North Korea on Tuesday, saying if Pyongyang continued to make significant threats to the U.S. “it will be met with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before.”
Defense Secretary James Mattis also strongly warned North Korea to change its behavior.
“The DPRK should cease any consideration of actions that would lead to the end of its regime and the destruction of its people,” Mattis said in a statement.
North Korea responded to Trump by saying it would launch an attack in the waters around the U.S. territory of Guam.
