Trump visits Fla. golf club ahead of remarks at Mar-a-Lago fundraiser

President Trump traveled to his Trump International Golf Course on Saturday ahead of his remarks at a reception for Republican donors.

Trump’s motorcade arrived at the West Palm Beach, Fla., golf club just after 8 a.m. on Saturday morning, according to pool reports. The trip was not listed on his public schedule released by the White House.

Trump is scheduled to give remarks at a Trump Victory reception at his private Mar-a-Lago resort later Saturday afternoon.

{mosads}The reception will serve as a joint fundraiser for Trump’s campaign and the Republication National Committee (RNC). Tickets to the event are priced at $2,700 a person, while a reception and two seats at a dinner with Trump cost $25,000.

The fundraiser is being held to make up for a similar event in January that Trump missed due to the brief government shutdown.

The event was instead headlined by the president’s son Eric Trump, his wife Lara Trump and RNC chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel.

The fundraiser brought in roughly $5 million for the RNC and Trump’s reelection campaign.

The president’s Saturday visit to his golf club marks the 100th day he’s visited one of his own golf properties since taking office, according to a NBC News tracker.
