‘Saturday Night Live’ mocks ‘historic’ Cohen raid

“Saturday Night Live” this weekend mocked the “historic” raid of President Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen.

During the “Weekend Update” segment, anchor Michael Che joked that the FBI first became suspicious of Cohen when they “found out he was the lawyer for Donald Trump.”

“This does not look good for Trump. If being black has taught me anything, it’s that when the feds come kicking in your door, they got something,” he said.

{mosads}”FBI raids are like when your girl goes through your phone. She’s only doing it to confirm whatever she already knows.”

Co-anchor Colin Jost added the FBI raid of Cohen is being called “historic.”

“It’s amazing how we keep hearing historic in reference to things that are happening during Trump’s administration and none of them are positive,” Jost said.

“Historic has become a polite way of saying, ‘unbelievably terrible.’ “

The FBI last week raided Cohen’s office, hotel room and home. Federal prosecutors confirmed on Friday that Cohen has been the subject of a criminal probe for months.

Trump reportedly called Cohen on Friday to “check in” as both of their legal teams attempted to block the federal government from reviewing documents it seized during the raid.
