Trump: McCabe should be under investigation for ties to Clinton
President Trump on Friday questioned why former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was not being investigated for his role in the Hillary Clinton email probe, given his wife’s political ties.
In a tweet, the president took aim at McCabe’s wife, Jill McCabe, who took money from top Clinton ally and former Virginia Gov. Terry McCaulife (D) during her unsuccessful run for office.
Trump has frequently pointed to the campaign of McCabe’s wife, and in particular the donations from McAuliffe, as evidence that McCabe was biased against him and exerted that bias at the FBI.
Why isn’t disgraced FBI official Andrew McCabe being investigated for the $700,000 Crooked Hillary Democrats in Virginia, led by Clinton best friend Terry M (under FBI investigation that they killed) gave to McCabe’s wife in her run for office? Then dropped case on Clinton!

McCabe, who was fired from the FBI earlier this year just days before his pension was supposed to go into effect, has denied any wrongdoing but was the subject of a criminal referral from the Justice Department’s inspector general last month.
{mosads}The former deputy FBI chief is under investigation for allegedly lying to investigators and former FBI Director James Comey, and for leaking information to the media during the 2016 election.
“We found it extremely unlikely, as McCabe now claims, that he not only told Comey about his decision to authorize the disclosure, but that Comey thought it was a ‘good’ idea for McCabe to have taken that action,” the report stated.
Trump and other Republicans have pointed to the inspector general’s report as evidence that McCabe mismanaged both the investigation into Clinton’s email server and the later probe into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Following the report’s release, Trump tweeted that it was a “disaster” for McCabe, who “lied! lied! lied!” He added that “McCabe is Comey!”
