This marks some of Trump’s first public comments regarding any of the allegations of infidelity against her husband.

Several women have come forward to claim that they had affairs with Donald Trump shortly after he married Melania Trump in 2005.

Adult-film star Stormy Daniels claims that she had a sexual encounter with Donald Trump, then a reality television star, in 2006, shortly after Melania gave birth to the couple’s son.

Former Playboy model Karen McDougal also claims that she had a relationship with Donald Trump that lasted for several months in 2006.

President Trump has denied both affairs.

Melania Trump insisted that she loves her husband and their marriage hasn’t been strained by the alleged affairs.

“Yes, we are fine,” she said. “It’s what media speculate, and it’s gossip. It’s not always correct stuff.”

“I’m very strong and I know what my priorities are,” she added.

News of the affairs broke in January after The Wall Street Journal reported that Daniels was paid $130,000 by former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen weeks before the 2016 presidential election.

The president first denied any knowledge of the payment but later admitted that he reimbursed Cohen for the nondisclosure deal.

Donald Trump’s current attorney, Rudy Giuliani, said in June that the first lady “believes her husband” and does not think any of the allegations are true.

A spokeswoman for Melania Trump later said she had never discussed the allegations with Giuliani before he made the remark.

“I don’t believe Mrs. Trump has ever discussed her thoughts on anything with Mr. Giuliani,” Stephanie Grisham, the first lady’s communications director, said in a statement to The Hill.

Melania Trump reiterated in Friday’s interview that she has never talked to Giuliani about Daniels’s allegations.

When ABC New’s Llamas asked her why he would have made those comments, she said, “You need to ask him.”
