Trump: Dems ‘have become totally unhinged’ following Mueller report
President Trump on Tuesday took aim Democrats, specifically focusing on two House members in a pair of tweets accusing the party of becoming “unhinged” in the wake of special counsel Robert Mueller’s conclusion to his investigation of the Trump campaign and Russian election interference.
The president accused Democrats of looking at Mueller as a “God-like figure” and said that House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) would never be satisfied by cooperation and testimony from members of his campaign and administration.
{mosads}”Robert Mueller was a God-like figure to the Democrats, until he ruled No Collusion in the long awaited $30,000,000 Mueller Report,” Trump wrote. “Now the Dems don’t even acknowledge his name, have become totally unhinged, and would like to go through the whole process again. It won’t happen!”
“There is no amount of testimony or document production that can satisfy Jerry Nadler or Shifty Adam Schiff,” the president continued, adding: “It is now time to focus exclusively on properly running our great Country!”

The president frequently targeted Mueller throughout the investigation, calling the probe a witch hunt aimed at delegitimizing his presidency.
Trump and his allies have celebrated since the conclusion of Mueller’s investigation and a summary by Attorney General William Barr, which stated that Mueller found no evidence of collusion with Russia from members of Trump’s campaign. Barr also said Mueller declined to take a position on obstruction of justice.
Multiple former Trump campaign officials were indicted or pleaded guilty to charges over the course of the investigation, but none of the charges related to of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
Schiff and Nadler have both vowed to continue investigations of the president and his allies following the end of the special counsel probe, a move that has set House Democrats on a collision course with the White House.
